About Jack
Hi, I'm Jack, the person behind ohmyself.com.
This is my corner of the internet — a minimal space for thinking out loud about code, technology, and life. No analytics, no popups, no newsletter begging. Just words.
I write in English about AI, software, useful tools, and the occasional idea that does not fit neatly into any of those categories.
How I evaluate tools
I care about what a tool can finish under real constraints: correctness, time, cost, and how much checking the result needs. My posts include small comparisons using identical prompts, analyses of public repository-task results, and workflows I use to divide work between agents.
A small test is useful when its limits are visible. I distinguish observations, estimates, and interpretations, link to source data where available, and describe the conditions behind a result. One run cannot establish a universal ranking. My custom LLM evaluation guide explains the checks I use to make comparisons more useful.
